Arriving the day before your cruise

• If you are planning on flying into Orlando International Airport the day before your cruise departs, there are several options available to you and your family. You may decide to book a hotel close to the airport; take the opportunity to visit Disney or Universal and lodge on the respective properties; or simply book a hotel only miles from the docks at Port Canaveral. Whichever choice you opt for, we can provide you with transportation to Port Canaveral from any of those previously mentioned choices.
• For those who have never visited Disney, we would of course recommend that you take the opportunity to do so before your Port Canaveral cruise. Staying at one of the Disney area hotels is a must but there are many adjacent hotels at lower prices as well. • If you have a late flight departure from Orlando Airport, we can recommend many great things for you and your family to do. The MCO Hyatt hotel located right inside the Orlando Airport, has great day rates available for cruisers who are looking to catch up on some sleep (who gets enough sleep on cruises these days?). If you would rather entertain the idea of one of the below options, rest assured that we can store your luggage at our facility for the day for a nominal extra charge.
• Visit one of the following parks: Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Universal Studios, Sea World, Discovery Cove, a water park in the hot summer months. This will give you a change to see the theme park side of Orlando if you have not had a chance to do so.
• Visit the beautiful white sandy beaches of Cocoa Beach. The beaches are only about 15 minutes away from Port Canaveral, and if you are looking for some fun in the sun with some R&R, this is the place to be. Cocoa beach is a quaint beach town with many souvenir shops to do some last minute shopping.

  This is a customer favorite! The average tour is about 4 hours and you will have the opportunity to learn more about NASA and the Space Shuttle program and see the actual launch pad for the Space Shuttle. If you are lucky, you may also see a rocket launch into space!

Important Information Required to book your Port Canaveral Transportation

Orlando to Port Canaveral:  Renting a Car

Many cruisers choose the rental car option because it sometimes is simply the most economical means of travelling from Orlando to Port Canaveral.  The easiest and most accessible route from Orlando to Port Canaveral cruise terminals is by taking 528 East.  This will end up taking you right by the cruise lines and you’ll actually not require any fancy GPS navigation systems to get there.  It’s that easy!  However, keep in mind that you’ll still need to wait in long lines to claim your car, pay a one way drop off fee, and then have to wait in long lines again at Port Canaveral in order to reclaim another rental for the return trip to Orlando.  It’s a good option for some cruisers, but with our hassle free service, we are simply the fastest and many times, economical means for your Port Canaveral transportation.
